By accessing or using HomeScout ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

HomeScout is a community-driven platform for discovering, discussing, and upvoting upcoming real estate project launches in India. Users can submit new launches, express interest, leave reviews and comments, and connect with brokers and builders.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a valid Google account to submit launches, upvote, review, or comment. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.

4. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, including launch listings, reviews, and comments. By posting content, you represent that: the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge; you have the right to post it; it does not violate any third party's rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines, is misleading, or is otherwise objectionable.

5. Community Guidelines

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent launch information
• Use profanity, hate speech, or harassing language in reviews or comments
• Spam, self-promote excessively, or post irrelevant content
• Manipulate upvotes or reviews (e.g., fake accounts, coordinated voting)
• Violate any applicable laws or RERA regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service

All comments and reviews are subject to AI-powered moderation. Content that violates these guidelines will be automatically rejected.

6. Launch Submissions

When you submit a launch, you represent that the project information is sourced from publicly available data (builder websites, RERA portals, news articles). HomeScout does not verify or endorse any launch listing. Users should conduct their own due diligence before making any investment decisions.

7. Lead Capture

When you express interest in a launch ("I'm Interested"), your contact information may be shared with the launch submitter. HomeScout is not responsible for communications between interested parties and submitters.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content, you grant HomeScout a license to host, display, and distribute your content as needed to provide the Service. The HomeScout name, logo, and platform are the property of HomeScout.

9. Disclaimer

HomeScout is an information platform, not a real estate brokerage. We do not guarantee the accuracy of launch listings, pricing, availability, or any other information on the platform. Property details, prices, and timelines are provided by users and may change. Always verify information directly with the builder or through official RERA portals.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

11. Limitation of Liability

HomeScout is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any investment decisions made based on information found on the platform.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
